The iBottleopener is a hard shell, two part slider case originally designed for the iPhone 3G, and later for each proceeding iteration of iPhone. This was the first project I worked on, and the one that achieved the most retail success. In production since 2010, the iBottleopener has been featured in countless media outlets, and has been seen on the shelves of major retail chains, and custom versions have shipped to several fortune 500 clients. I managed all aspects of the supply chain while building out the wholesale and ecommerce business.
The Infinity Dock is a CNC machined, 3 part mechanical sculpture designed by Thomas Wietechi and Myself. Designed to fit both Android and iOS phones, the Infinity Dock won praise from numerous design blogs and was featured in Yanko design in early 2014. It was a pretty challenging project due to the angles we chose, and I definitely learned a lot about 3d printing and mechanical engineering in the process.
The JuiceBuddy was introduced for the iPhone 4/4s in 2012. Designed to be thrown in a purse or attached to a key chain, the JuiceBuddy is an ultra portable charging solution for your iPhone. The Juicebuddy saw critical acclaim, and was featured on several prominent tech blogs like Gizmodo, Mashable, and Huffington Post. There ended up being two future versions of this project, both saw success wholesale.
The MonoShot is the perfect Monopod for your smartphone. I was frustrated that I couldn't find a portable solution to film my golf swing with my iPhone. Everything was either too big and designed for DSLR cameras, or it was too small and didn't extend more than your average selfie stick. I think we found the happy medium with the MonoShot, and we added a nifty spike attachment for shooting in grass, snow, and sand.
The Arriba Adapter was a 2 in 1 charging solution for your iPhone 5. Since the introduction of the lightning cable in 2012, many iOS charging cords were rendered useless. I wanted a solution that was cheap and easy to use on the go with the existing cords that already littered your house. This was a fun project that I did with my good friend and designer Vinnie Finn, who shot the video and also designed the packaging.
The Travelcard is a portable external battery for your iPhone or Android. The result of another successful kickstarter campaign that raised over $60,000, the Travelcard saw critical acclaim from numerous bloggers, and is still seeing ecommerce success. Carrying 1500 mah in a tiny, 3/8th of an inch package, the Travelcard is perfect accessory when you need to charge your smartphone in a pinch.
